Go Panthers!

We are thrilled to announce we are supporting our local football team!

We’ve signed up to support the Bayston Hill Juniors U10s –  the Panthers and have given the team beautiful blue jackets to keep the rain off and keep them warm!

It’s brilliant to see the players back out on the football pitch enjoying football again after having no practice or games since early January, due to lockdown.

Despite the impact Covid has had on grassroots football, the team is now raring to go and has already played several matches.

Coach Andrew Kyriakou said: “With the British weather, the teams are always in need of a good jacket to keep them warm on the sidelines, even more so in 2021 when there are no indoor matches.

“We are so grateful to Abbey Kitchens in Shrewsbury for ensuring the Panthers have all the kit that they need.”

Rebecca Hayes, of Abbey Kitchens, said: “A parent approached us to let us know the team needed jackets and we thought, as a local business, we could help out.

“After lockdown, it’s so brilliant to see the kids back out and playing grassroots football again on our local pitches.

“Abbey Kitchens is delighted to be able to help out the team and keep them dry while they play outdoors.

“We’ll be cheering on the U10s Panthers for the season!”
